STEVE "THE DRAGON" CLAGGETT AND EMMANUEL ?RENEGADE? ROBLES HEADLINE ROY JONES, JR "KNOCKOUT NIGHT AT THE D" WEIGH-IN

PhilBoxing.com

With Roy Jones, Jr. the co-founder of Roy Jones, Jr. Promotions at the helm and boxing announcer Joe Martinez providing colorful introductions to the fourteen boxers waiting for their turns at the scale, the "Knockout Night at the D" weigh-in held on September 8, 2016 at the Fremont Experience opposite the D Casino proceeded with few glitches as 2 boxers have to bare it all to loss half pound each but provided no other drama that could have derailed the aspirations, the showmanship and the dreams of any of these boxers headed by Canadian welterweight champion Steve "The Dragon" Claggett and Californian interim WBC Latino super lightweight champion Emmanuel ?Renegade?Robles who are in the main event for the NABA welterweight title.

Both Claggett (23W(16KO), 4L (1KO), 1D) and the undefeated Robles (15W(5KO), 0L, 1D) who are fighting for the vacant WBA-NABA USA super lightweight title came in at 140 pounds.

The September 9 edition of the 7-bout ?Knockout Night at the D? also features an exciting fight between undefeated Rolando Garza (9W(6KO), 0L) from Austin, Texas and undefeated Neeco ?The Rooster? Macias ((12W(6KO) , OL) from Palm Desert, California as co-main event fighting for the vacant WBC United States (USNBC) super welterweight title. Macias who has hundreds of fans in the crowd came in at 153.5 pounds while Garza came in at 154 pounds. Both boxers said they will stick to their respective game plan come fight night when asked by JRR Promotions' broadcaster Joey Varner what they will do to save their undefeated record. However, Garza said that if Macias wants to fight toe to toe, he will fight toe to toe, as well, and win the fight.

?I don't talk I just fight,? Claggett who is with Anthony Martin, a boxing trainer from Mayweather gym and his official cut-man said when ask by Varner his prediction. Claggett's trainer Vlad Goldenstein will be flying in from Canada by fight night. Whereas, Robles said ?It's a 10-round fight, it will be a 10-round fight or less and I expect less and walk away with that belt. It will be a great show, everybody come and watch.?

Roy Jones, Jr. thank the crowd for coming and witnessing this event and inviting them to watch the fight tomorrow as it sure is a very entertaining boxing event as in the previous edition of the ?Knockout Night at the D? which he enjoyed.

The ?Knockout Night at the D? being held at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center was the brainchild of Derek Stevens, owner and CEO of D Casino and DLVEC in collaboration with Neon Star Media and Roy Jones, Jr. JRR Promotions to provide boxing fans an outdoor venue for world class boxing events. "Knockout Night at the D" is sponsored by Rival, Title Boxing and the D Casino among others and televised by CBS Sports Network. Tickets are available at the D Casino box office, at the DLVEC and at the ticketmaster.com. Doors open at 5 pm and first fight will be held at 6 pm and TV telecast will start on the fifth fight of the night.
