BANARES BROTHERS TO SING AT THE WORLD CUP OF BOXING

EJ and Brendon Banares, US based performers will pay tribute to the Philippines as they sing the Philippine National Anthem at the World cup of boxing on August 11,2007 at Arco Arena in Sacramento.
EJ, 18 years old a baritone, and Brendon, 15 a tenor, are protegee of the Aldeguer Sisters at their Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, USA. The brothers launched their local career with the release of their debut album Aking Inay.
Simultaneously, they have established Pusong Pinoy USA, a charity foundation that aims to help physically handicapped children in the Philippines.
They may have been born and raised in the US, but EJ and Brendon consider themselves Pinoy at heart. Both are blessed with amazingly great voices to parents Jun and Nanette Banares. According to them it was their mother Nanette Navarro Banares who started them out in the performing arts.
