NBA -- Heat's young turks lead charge versus Nuggets

MIAMI --- The Miami Heat got a huge lift from their rookies on Monday night.
Justise Winslow scored 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting while in a 8 for 13 Josh Richardson swished 6-of-10 shots for 17 points as the Heat beat the visiting Denver Nuggets, 124-119, at the American Airlines Arena.
In his first appearance since missing the game against the Toronto Raptors, Dwayne Wade scored 19 points. Recently-acquired Joe Johnson added 18 points while big man Hassan Whiteside came off the bench for another double-double, 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Chris Bosh sat in street clothes at the end of the Heat bench in his street clothes. There is no timetable yet for his return after being sidelined by a medical condition since February 9. Chris Bosh?s return to play.
Kenneth Faried made 11-of-11 form the field and led the Nuggets with a team-high 24 points. was the highest scorer for the Denver Nuggets with 24 points in a perfect 11 for 11 shooting. Rookie Emmanuel Mudiay finished with 23 points and 10 assists.
Denver Nuggets Head Coach Michael Malone said? Give Miami credit, first and foremost. Spo did a great job. Anytime you allow a team to score 124 and shoot 60 percent from the field, it?s going to make for a long night," Nuggets head coach told reporters after the game.
Former Heat Mike Miller did not play during his homecoming. He became a champion during his stint for the Heat.
The Miami Heat snapped a 4 game winning streak of the Denver Nuggets.
The Heat will host Charlotte Hornets this coming Thursday and the Denver Nuggets will play in Orlando Tuesday.
