CRACKING FIGHT CARD FEATURING 5 TITLE FIGHTS IN UNITED INTERNATIONAL PROMOTIONS TAGUIG CARD ON SATURDAY By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Tue, 16 Feb 2016 A cracking fight card featuring no less than five title fights will be presented by United International Promotions headed by Japan?s Ryuta Kato at the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig City this Saturday. In the main event WBC International light flyweight champion Richard Claveras defends his title against Jonathan Refugio while veteran Ardin Diale puts his Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation flyweight title on the line against Jonathan Francisco. In a battle for the vacant Philippine welterweight title Dennis Padua faces Stephen Gelawa while in a clash for the vacant Philippine flyweight title Michael Enriquez takes on Donny Mabao. In a female title fight flyweight champion Lady Love Sampiton tangles with Carleans Rivas. The main event features Claveras (14-1-2, 12 KO?s) won the vacant WBC International title with a unanimous decision over Jerry Tomogdon last December 2 . The 26 year old has a decided height advantage over challenger, 22 year old Jonathan Refugio who is unranked and stands 5 ?1 ?? compared to Claveras who stands 5?6?. Refugio is coming off a six round unanimous decision over 22 year old veteran Fabio Marfa last January 12. Veteran campaigner Ardin Diale from the United Boxing Gym in Malate, Manila makes the first defense of his OPBF 112 pound crown against Jonathan Francisco from the Rex ?Wakee? Salud stable. The 27 year old Diale who won the title by a twelve round unanimous decision over tough Renoel Pael last December 2 has a record of 29-9-3 with 15 knockouts while the comparative newcomer, 23 year old southpaw Francisco has a record of 8-4-1 with 2 knockouts.
