NBA -- Heat quiets Thunder behind Wade's 28
By Roman David Garay PhilBoxing.com Sat, 05 Dec 2015

MIAMI- It was supposed to be a rainy forecast in Miami with some dose of Oklahoma City Thunder along the way, but Dwyane Wade and the Heat made sure that the 19,600 sellout crowd stayed warm and dry at American Airlines Arena Thursday night.
Wade delivered two clutch free throws with 1.5 seconds left in the ballgame and finished off the feisty Thunder 97-95.
The Marquette University alum scored 28 points including all of Miami's last 8 points in the fourth quarter. Chris Bosh added 16 points and Goran Dragic chipped in with 14 markers and 7 dimes.
It was a tightly contested ballgame in which both teams sustained an NBA season-high 38 lead changes. No other NBA game before Thursday had more than 25. In Wade's 13-year season career with the Heat, no Miami game ever had more than 31.
"Like a playoff atmosphere," a relieved Wade said after the game. "For our young team, that hasn't been in many of these kind of games, it was great."
Oklahoma City had its chances for a go ahead bucket in their last two offensive possessions, but Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook missed their respective three point shot attempts.
"I shoot 47 percent from 3 and I got a wide-open look," Durant spoke on his shot attempt . "I just missed it."
Durant and Westbrook finished with 25 points apiece in their loss accounting for 53 percent of the team's total points. Dion Waiters and Enes Kanter contributed a combined 23 points off the bench for OKC.
Miami will host Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday while OKC will meet the Sacramento Kings at home Sunday.
