NBA Playoffs -- Steph Curry showing MVP stuff
By Ryan Medida PhilBoxing.com Sat, 23 May 2015

OAKLAND -- If there has ever been a doubt as to who is the NBA's MVP this season, Stephen Curry is erasing all the doubts in the ongoing NBA playoffs.
Through 12 postseason games thus far, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Curry is averaging 29.1 points, 6.6 assists and 5 rebounds a contest. The 27-year old point guard is shooting 46.3 percent from the field, 42.5 percent from 3-point country and 81.3 percent from the free throw stripe.
After leading the Warriors to a 67-15 regular season card, Curry has brought his team two games away from a berth in the 2015 NBA Finals.
In last night's Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, Curry sizzled with 33 points as No.1 seed Golden State prevailed, 99-98, to take a commanding 2-0 series lead over the second-seeded Houston Rockets.
Curry's Game 2 effort marked the third consecutive playoffs game which he scored 30-plus points.
James Harden, who finished second in the MVP balloting, is leading the Rockets with 27.6 points 8.1 assists and 5.6 rebounds through 14 playoffs games.
Stats-wise, Curry and Harden are neck-and-neck, but Curry holds the digits that matter the most ---- a 2-0 Warriors lead over Harden's Rockets in the West Finals.
