Will history repeat itself?
By Robbie Pangilinan PhilBoxing.com Tue, 07 Apr 2015

It was February 10, 1990 when then undefeated and undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was knocked out by underdog Buster Douglas at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. This is boxing?s biggest upset.
Today, 25 years hence, will history repeat itself?
Supporters and fans of Manny Pacquiao certainly hope so, as the Filipino boxing icon faces the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the fight of the century on May 2 at Las Vegas.
?With the way Manny perform ed against Chris Algieri in the last fight, Pacquiao will easily knock out Mayweather,? said Pacquiao?s trainer, Hall of Fame awardee Freddie Roach. Pacquiao defended his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against Algieri last year at the Cotai Arena inside The Venetian Macao.
?Floyd can?t run like he used to. He can?t move, his legs are shot, he?s a washed up, old fighter. We?ll knock out Floyd,? said the coach confidently.
Mayweather has been said to want to tie Rocky Marciano?s record of 49-0. Currently, Mayweather has 47 victories, and should he beat Pacquiao, he needs one more win to tie.
If the Filipino fans are to be believed, Floyd Mayweather doesn't stand a chance against Manny Pacquiao.
