MILWAUKEE -- Stephen Curry made six triples to power the Golden State Warriors to a 108-95 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Curry, a leading MVP candidate, sank a total of 8-of-13 field goals for 25 points. The All-Star point guard also had six assists and four rebounds as Golden State secured home court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs with a 60-13 record.
Klay Thompson also came up huge for the Warriors with 21 points while Harrison Barnes had 13 points and six boards. David Lee, James Michael McAdoo and Marreese Speights finished with 12 points apiece for Golden State, which broke the game wide open by outscoring Milwaukee 58-40 in the second and third quarters.
"Wins and losses might not matter when it comes to the standings, but we want to win as many games as possible and we want to feel good about how we're going into the playoffs," Curry told reporters during the media availability session.
Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 14 points. Chris Dudley had 13 while Giannis Antetokounmpo and Zaza Pachulia logged 12 apiece. Milwaukee shot just 33 of 87 from the field and 2 of 15 from 3-point range.
With a 36-37 record, the Bucks remained at sixth place in the Eastern Conference but their lead over the 33-39 Miami Heat has narrowed down to 2 1/2 games.
