NBA -- Nets snap Cavs' four-game win streak
By Vadim Atbashyan PhilBoxing.com Sun, 29 Mar 2015

BROOKLYN -- The Brooklyn Nets pulled away in the fourth quarter of a close game to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 106-98, on Friday night at the Barclays Center.
It was just the seventh loss in 35 contests for the Cavs, who were outscored 27-19 in the final 12 minutes of play.
Joe Johnson finished with 20 points and a season-high nine assists for Brooklyn. All-Star center Brook Lopez also had 20 points and 9 rebounds while going 6-for- 6 from the free throw line.
At his post-game press conference, an impressed Nets head coach Lionel stated that rookie Markel Brown's "defense in the first half helped keep us in the game. "It?s a team game, and you need everyone to win, ? Hollins added.
Brooklyn?s bench registered an impressive 54 points behind Bojan Bogdanovic?s 18 markers on 7-for-12 shooting. Alan Andersdon and Jarett Jack combined for 29 points and 6 assists as the Nets won without the injured Thaddeus Young (left knee strain).
Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with a game-high 26 points while LeBron James had 24 points and 9 assists. Kevin Love pitched in 18 for Cleveland, which shot 45.7 percent from the field but struggled beyond the arc, making only 8-of-30 from long distance.
"No excuses, that team over there played better than us tonight,? James said.
Cavs head coach David Blatt stated that ?its really hard to sit here and point out one thing, there were a lot of things that we just didn?t do well.?
