NBA - Warriors roll past Cavaliers, 112-94 (PHOTOS) By Doreen Mendez PhilBoxing.com Sun, 11 Jan 2015 ![]() OAKLAND ---- The Golden State Warriors completed a perfect six game by beating the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers, 112-94, at the Oracle Arena on Friday night. The blowout was the Warriors' 15th win in 16 home games. Klay Thompson led the way with 24 points while Stephen Curry had an impressive 23 points and 10 assists with only one turnover. The sweet-shooting Thompson left late in the third quarter after sustaining a cut in his forehead, no thanks to an errant JR Smith elbow. He returned in the middle of the fourth quarter after receiving 11 stitches. The new look Cavaliers, who played with LeBron James, stayed close all through out the game. Smith had an electrifying performance and scored a game-high 27 points. Kevin Love added a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards. Kyrie Irving pitched in 23 points. Draymond Green accounted for 10 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to help the Warriors pull away in the fourth where the Cavs' tried to mount a spirited comeback and hit one big shot after another. The Warriors' victory came in front of the man who had a hand in turning around the franchise, former head coach Mark Jackson. Very well-liked by the Dub Nation Fans and the Golden State players alike, Jackson received a warm welcome back and a standing "O" while he was introduced. Coach Jackson was at the Oracle Arena calling the game on TV for ESPN..
