Mepranum wins again

KIDAPAWAN City – Upcoming flyweight boxer Ritchie
Mepranum of Maasim, Sarangani Province continued his
winning form with a convincing victory over Jun Colado
of Butuan City at the Kidapawan City gym.
The 18-year old Mepranum of the Maasim Mayor Jojo
Lopez Stable landed telling blows against Colado to
score a unanimous decision.
Mepranum, a seven-time amateur boxing champion
improved his pro record top five wins with three
knockouts and no loss or draw.
Mepranum will next fight against Joe Galamiton of
Zamboanga on March 25 in Cagayan de Oro City.

Meanwhile, former Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF)
bantamweight king Edward Apa-ap of the Winer Stable
and Glen Porras of Braveheart Stable beat separate
rivals in contrasting ways in the same card.
Apa-ap, now rated RP No. 4 bantamweight contender won
by a unanimous
decision over Julius Taron of Contayoso Stable, while
the RP No. 2 super-flyweight ranked Porras knocked out
Danny Logramonte of Bernard Yu
Stable-Butuan in 1:55 of the third round.
