2016 NBA FINALS --- Warriors steam roll Cavaliers​,​ 110 ​-​77​,​ to take a 2 - 0 lead

O​AKLAND​-- ​This time, it​ was Draymond Green's turn​ to shine​​.

​Green​, one of Golden State's fabulous Big 3, ​was simply amazing on Sunday night, ​ shooting 11​-of--​20 from the field, including 5 for 8 behind the arc​. The versatile 6-foot-7 small forward was all over the Oracle Arena, flexing his ​muscles on both ends of the floor.

Behind Green's 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, ​the defending world champion Warriors chased the Cleveland Cavaliers out of their building with a 110-77 Game 2 rout to take a 2-0 series lead in their best-of-7 NBA Finals.

​The Warriors' "Strength in Numbers" battle cry was in full display once again. After their bench out-scored the Cavs reserves 45-10 in Game 1, Golden State's starters hammered the Cavs' first stringers 70-47 in Game 2.

Reigning MVP Stephen Curry played limited minutes in the second and third quarters due to foul trouble, but he still managed with 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting. His Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, pitched in 17 points as the All-Star backcourt recovered nicely after combining for just 20 points in Game 1.

Lebron James led the Cavs with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists but Kyrie Irving struggled mightily, missing 9 of 14 shots for a mere 10 points. Kevin Love, who logged just 20 minutes after taking an inadvertent elbow to the head in the third quarter, was held to 5 points.

​Trailing 28-22 early in the second quarter, the Warriors went on a 20-2 to seize control. They never relinquished the lead and the Cavaliers had no answers.​

"They just beat us, We didn't win anything. No points of the game did we beat them in anything." ​a dejected ​Lebron ​James said during his post-game press conference.​ The 4-time MVP took the blame for the loss and ​vowed to clean up his turnovers in Game 3.​

"Draymond does everything for us, he defends, when we play our small line-up he is our rim protector. It's a tough job in this series because he has to guard Kevin Love who's usually spaced out at the 3 point line. So, he has to pick his spots. He knocked down his three point shots which is a bonus." ​Warriors head coach ​Steve Kerr​ said.​

​Game 3 of there NBA Finals shifts to Cleveland for Game 3 and 4 at the Quicken Loans Arena beginning on Wednesday night (Thursday AM in Manila.)
