PACMAN'S LAST DAY OF TRAINING AT MY GYM!! PhilBoxing.com Sun, 25 Oct 2009  Manny Pacquiao arrived today 24th of October at 11 am for his last workout in my gym before he leaves for the US and resume his training at the Wildcard Gym in Los Angeles, California. He was his usual self, focused, ready and determined. Yesterday’s workout was cancelled because he has done a heavy workout yesterday at Rizal Memorial that Freddie Roach decided to call it a day. Manny did the exercises and I can judge by his muscle build that he’s ready to fight with Cotto anytime. After the workout, my family had lunch with him and my starry-eyed kids, JC and Julienne, enjoyed having him around especially JC who never stops talking basketball (NBA) with him. It was a very private but a very enjoyable lunch. We were joined at the dining table by Wakee Salud and sports writer Dong Secuya. One thing I admire with the PACMAN is that he’s so focused whenever he’s on training. He never let anything or anyone distract him from the training routine. He has big respect for Freddie Roach and will always agree with what the celebrated trainer tells him to do. I bet that’s the main reason why they are so right for each other. As Marv Dumond of the Examiner.com stated in his latest article, “This bout is misleading - it actually comprises of Pacquiao AND Freddie Roach vs Cotto. Two masters fighting one soldier.” I truly hope that his predictions about the fight will surely do come true. Manny sure is devastating inside the ring. Our day with Manny ended with a mass. Manny has always been deeply religious and in his quest for the seventh title, I know that the Lord above will not deny him another victory. He left the gym at exactly 2:45pm, a few hours before his flight to Los Angeles, California USA. I want to rally on all the Filipinos to give our support to Manny Pacquiao once more. He is one of the reasons why worldwide community has deep respects for Filipino sportsman. He needs our prayers and support now… Pre, Kayang kaya mo ang labang ito!...Good Luck!!
