Michael Farenas Returns Oct. 3 PhilBoxing.com Fri, 11 Sep 2009  October 3 is a red-letter day for boxing fans as another spectacular boxing event will be staged in Cuneta Astrodome titled “Duelo del Guapos” Labanan sa Lupang Silangan. A battle between Philippines’ Drian “Gintong Kamao” Francisco and Panamanian two-time world champion Roberto “Spider” Vasquez will be the headline-bout of the said event. It is presented by Saved by the Bell Promotions and Batangas Sportsman-Businessman Elmer Anuran and Gerrypens Promotions. One of the boxers I am personally grooming, Michael Farenas will also see action against tough Korean opponent Jae Bon Jang as the main supporting bout. This will be his quest to capture the World Professional Boxing Federation Featherweight title. Farenas carries an impressive record of 26 wins, 23 wins by way of knock out with 2 losses. He has earned the admiration of boxing enthusiasts during the Pacquiao-Hatton supporting fight as he was pitted against the Colombian Walter Estrada. His powerful left hook sent Estrada down to the canvas and it astonished all who were present in the venue, including Estrada himself, because the fight was over before the first round ends. Sports analysts and sports writers named Farenas as another potential world boxing sensation. Sa kasalukuyan, puspusan na ang ginagawang pagsasanay para sa darating na laban sa October 3, 2009. Ang Team Farenas na pinangungunahan ng trainer na si Carmelo Penalosa ay may inilatag na matinding fight plan upang maipanalo ang laban.
