NBA -- Wade opts out, Heat's Big 3 likely to stay together
By Homer D. Sayson PhilBoxing.com Sun, 29 Jun 2014

CHICAGO -- Just days after LeBron James opted out of the final two years of his six-year deal with the Miami Heat, teammate Dwyane Wade followed suit on Saturday and opted out of his two-year deal worth $41.8 million.
Chris Bosh has yet to decide but sources told ESPN that the 6-foot-11 center will also opt out of the last two years remaining in his deal worth $42.6 million. At a smaller scale, power forward Udonis Haslem also opted out of the final year of his contract worth $4.6 million.
If Bosh indeed opts out, the Heat is expected to sign him, James and Wade to longer but more cap-friendly deals that would allow the team to lure more talent after they were devastated by the San Antonio Spurs in five games during this year's NBA Finals.
"Dwyane has been the cornerstone of our franchise for over a decade, and we hope he remains a part of the Heat family for life, " Miami Heat president Pat Riley said in a statement posted at the Miami Herald. (Homer D. Sayson)
