GENERAL SANTOS ? A month before the highly-anticipated Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios brawl at the Venetian Macao's 15,000 capacity CotaiArena in Macau, China, eighty per cent of the tickets have been sold out, Venetian Macao CEO Ed Tracy has informed Philboxing.com.
?We sold out about 80 per cent of the tickets. Only the most expensive ones remain,? Tracy told Philboxing during the Pacquiao media day at Pacman's Wildcard Gym here Thursday. ?We expect the remaining tickets to be sold out around Tuesday the fight week when the high-rollers arrive at the Casino,? Tracy added.
Ticket prices are listed as HKD/MOP$9,880 (Gold Reserve), HKD/MOP$6,480 (Silver Reserve), HKD/MOP$3,880 (A Reserve), HKD/MOP$1,880 (B Reserve) and HKD/MOP$880 (C Reserve).
Tracy who had been involved in featuring boxing events in Atlantic City, New Jersey when he managed the Trump Organization, said he was excited to visit Pacquiao's gym because he ?loves boxing.? Tracy, together with Top Rank's Bob Arum, have envisioned a shift of boxing's center of gravity to Asia.
