The main event ended in a split decision victory for the new WBO INTERNATIONAL FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPION Jose ?Negro? Ramirez with scores from the judges Salven Lagumbay and Danrex Tapdasan at 114-111 in favor of Ramirez and Edward Ligas had an eye popping score of 114-111 for Bautista.

Ramirez: I would like to thank my family and most of all the man above.

Lopez: Were you ever hurt in the fight?

Lopez: Would you give Bautista a rematch?

Ramirez: Yes I would.

Lopez: What can you say about the Philippines?

Ramirez: The fans were very nice to me. They treated me very nice. I love the Philippines.

Lopez: What are your plans for the next fight?

Ramirez: I will rest and see what fight we can get next.
