?KNOCKOUT KINGS? FIGHT WEEK SCHEDULE OPEN TO PUBLIC

PhilBoxing.com

Every time Golden Boy Promotions promotes a boxing event, they always put the boxing fans? satisfaction in mind. They always make it huge. Not only in talent but also in persona that will surely thrill the crowd. It is not only one, not two but three championships in three different divisions are at stake in their upcoming boxing bonanza on Saturday, September 15 at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Then, throw another top caliber championship bout as an added bonus and you have a quadruple header. ?Knockout Kings? event has also four supporting preliminary bouts of promising boxers.

Mexican newest boxing idol and superstar Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez (40, 0, 1, 20KOs) will headline the ?Knockout Kings? boxing extravaganza and will defend his WBC world super welterweight title against equally dangerous Josesito Lopez (30, 4, 0, 18KOs) of California.

In the other championship fights, WBC Featherweight World Champion Jhonny Gonzalez (52, 7, 0, 45 KOs) will defend his crown against former world champion Daniel Ponce de Leon (43, 4, 0, 35KOs). Mexican Leo Santa Cruz (20, 0, 1, 11KOs) defends his IBF Bantamweight world title against former two-time world champion Puerto Rican Eric Morel (46, 3, 0, 23KOs).
Former world champion Argentinian Marcos Maidana (31, 3, 0, 28KOs) will duke it out with Jesus Soto Karass (26, 7, 3, 17KOs) for the vacant WBA Intercontinental Welterweight title to complete the ?Knockout Kings? line-up. Among these eight protagonists there are 197 knockouts credited to them.

Golden Boy Promotions put a human touch to this boxing extravaganza by allowing boxing fans the whole week beginning Tuesday until Saturday hours before the actual fight on Saturday to witness the ?Knockout Kings? protagonists? grand arrivals at MGM Grand Garden hotel. The public has also a chance to see the boxers workout, interact with them through autograph signings, and most probably may be able to talk to them in person and lastly, be there in their weigh-in.

As the infomercial usually says, ?wait there is more.? Panamian boxing legend Roberto Duran (103, 16, 0, 70KOs) is also available for autograph signing and Al Berstein for his book signing. ?Wait there is more.? Mexican legendary boxers notably, Erubey ?Chango? Carmona, Pipino Cuevas, Humberto Gonzalez, Rodolfo ?Gato? Gonzalez, Danny ?Little Red? Lopez and Daniel ?Chato? Zaragoza are also in attendance for autograph signing.
