Elmar Francisco Singwancha guns for the WBC Asian bantamweight title today in Bangkok

BANGKOK -- Filipino Elmar Francisco Singwancha (15-13-1, 3KOs) of Misamis Oriental will battle Thailand's Yodchanchai Nakornloun (13-2, 12KOs) for the WBC Asian Boxing Council bantamweight title in one of the preliminaries of the Suriyan-Nashiro title fight today at the National Stadium in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.
Elmar weighed-in 116 lbs while Asia bantamweight champ Yudchanchai made the limit of the bantamweight division 118 lbs. during the official weighin yesterday.
Elmar Francisco Singwancha will be assisted in his corner by international matchmaker and cornerman Brico Santig and head trainer Sonny Dichoso.
