Today! Herlan Gomez Fights Vikas Bhardwaj for ABF 118 Belt in Exciting Highland Promotion in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand — Skilled Filipino bantamweight Herlan Gomez has the mission of fighting unbeaten, well-trained India warrior Vikas Bhardwaj today, Sunday December 8, at the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium สนามมวยเวทีลุมพินี in Bangkok, Thailand.

Both young fighters successfully made weight yesterday, looking strong, focused and more than ready for their scheduled 10-round ABF title battle.

During fight time, the 25-year-old Herlan Gómez (12-1, 9 KOs) of Bacolod, Negros Occidental, will be assisted by experienced head coach Frank Jaro of Rizal, while the bearded 22-year-old Vikas Bhardwaj (4-0-1, 2 KOs), of Sonipat in Northwestern India will be guided by coach former boxer Brijesh Kumar from the Indian City of Agra, home of the world famous XVII century Taj Mahal.

All the way, the charming, good sport Herlan Gomez has been accompanied and cared for by his world class head coach Frank Jaro, and his teammates of the Highland Boxing Team, among them Elmar “Samurai” Zamora, Reymart Soledad, coach Allanjohn Alegria, Raymond Yanong and Afred “The Destroyer” Deaño.

What will happen when Herlan and Vikas start battle later today?

👉 Will the more experienced Visayas fighter Herlan Gomez be able to defeat the strong-looking Vikas Bhardwaj today in Thailand?

👉 Or will the young undefeated Vikas be the one to outbox, out-speed, confuse and dominate the promising pogi Pinoy boxer?

Today’s show at Thailand’s iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok is a production of promoters Supanat Chanram and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions in association with promoter Alessio Bisutti of FCC - Fight Club Championship and the Singwancha Foundation.
