The 8-round bout will serve as the co-main event on a DAZN-televised card headlined by Jamaine “The Technician” Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs) versus Christian Rubio Mino (24-9-2, 17 KOs) for the WBA Continental USA Jr. Welterweight title. Gallegos, who is co-promoted by Boxlab Promotions and Shuan Boxing, has generated excitement in the lightweight division with his aggressive style and high KO ratio. The 18-year-old is focused on capturing the WBO Youth title in what he acknowledges will be the toughest test of his career to date.
