Crocs FC wins 3 titles in Laliga Youth

CROCS Football Club of Davao City won three titles – U8, U10 and U12 - in the prestigious Laliga Youth Tournament Philippines 2024 held last October 18 to 20 at the Athletic Stadium in New Clark City.
Crocs under head coach John Mark “Gigs” Lapiseros blanked compatriot Ciudad FC Davao, 4-0 in the finals of the Under 8 Division.
The scorers were Jethniel Malim [two goals], Zivon Compoc and Brymer Camarillo.
Crocs earlier nipped Azkals Development Academy, 1-0 by Charbel Chatto, who was assisted by Malim in the quarter finals.
In the semi-finals, Crocs had to score a penalty shootout against Ateneo, 3-2 after tying with 1-all.
Ervin Lim scored the winning goal.
“First and foremost trust in God, focus and determination as a team. Give all the best way to win the game every match,” said Lapiseros.
Crocs also shaded Paul Stiga Academy, 1-0 to win the Under 10 finals. Joshua Huraño made the winning goal.
Crocs both earlier downed Azkals and G8 Academy by penalty shootout in the quarter and semi-finals, respectively.
In the Under 12, Crocs continued its winning ways by crushing Kaya FC, 3-0 in the finals.
The goals were scored by Trino Belleza, Van Danielle Benia and Sean Pinion.
Earlier in the quarter finals, Crocs shaded G8 Academy, 1-0 by Reneld Pigos before beating CFA in the semi-finals.
The Crocs U12 head coach is Christian Ea while the assistant coaches are Paul Espinosa, Fritz Evan Galladora, James Altivo and July Orcasitas.
The Crocs U10 head coach is Ryan Sumcio with assistant coach Genisis Maravilla.
The U8 Crocs FC is also mentored by assistant coach Earl Dominic Lim.
Laliga Youth, which started in Malaysia and Thailand, is dubbed as one of the best tournaments in Asia.
