Yasuda KOs Carcosia in 8th round

KATSUYA Yasuda of Japan scored a knockout against Presco Carcosia of General Santos City in the 8th round last July 9 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The 32-year-old Yasuda retained his WBO Asia Pacific lightweight title for the 3rd time.
Yasuda now has 14 wins with nine knockouts against one loss while the 28-year-old Carcosia suffered his 4th loss against 12 wins and one draw.
Yasuda won his second fight this year, beating Ruito Saeki by a TKO in the 9th round last January 9 in Korakuen.
Meanwhile, former OPBF light flyweight champion Edward Heno of Muntinlupa lost by a 4th round technical knockout to Toshiya Ishii of Japan in the undercard.
Heno now has five losses against 16 wins and six draws while Ishii has seven wins, one loss and two draws.
Hideyuki Ohashi of Ohashi Promotions is the promoter.
