OSCAR "EL PUPILO" COLLAZO HOSTS MEDIA WORKOUT IN NATIVE PUERTO RICO

SPECIAL NIGHT OF FIGHTS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL BOXING HALL OF FAME WEEKEND LIVE FROM TURNING STONE RESORT CASINO
VILLALBA, PUERTO RICO (May 29, 2024) – Undefeated, WBO Minimumweight World Champion Oscar "El Pupilo" Collazo (9-0, 7 KOs) of Villaba, Puerto Rico hosted a media workout ahead of his championship clash on Friday, June 7. Collazo will face Managua, Nicaragua’s Gerardo Zapata (14-1-1) in a special 12-round fight that will be a part of the Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. The event will take place at Turning Stone Resort Casino, and is co-promoted with Miguel Cotto Promotions and broadcast around the world on DAZN.

"I feel great, strong, fast and very excited for my third world title defense. We are one week and a half away from fight night. This camp has been perfect, we have a great game plan for Zapata and all the fans will see another masterpiece performance."

Tickets are on sale now. Turning Stone will also offer ticketholders a unique boxing fan experience the night of the fight. For $75 (plus the purchase of a ticket), guests will receive exclusive access to the Boxing Hall of Fame Lounge, where Hall of Fame inductees will be socializing on June 7 at various times between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
