DONAIRE VS MIJARES SHAPING UP!

Reliable sources have informed Philboxing.com that IBF flyweight king Nonito Donaire Jr may get a chance for a mega-buck showdown with WBC/WBA superfly king Cristian Mijares.
Nonito Donaire Sr, his son's trainer, informed Philboxing.com today that Nonito Jr is slated to defend his IBF crown on July 26 underneath the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
If successful, the plan is to pit Donaire against Mijares later this year.
Promoter Lou Dibella is reportedly keen on having Mijares face Donaire in an HBO-televised event, a battle which will pit two highly-talented world champions at the prime of their careers.
