'BACK ON TRACK' PRESSCON SET TODAY

The official press conference for this Saturday's "Back on Track' card at the New Cebu Coliseum takes place today 11AM at the Hotel Fortuna, said promoter Sammy Gello-ani.
The event, which will co-headline Rodel Mayol and Bert Batawang in a slambang card, will promptly start at 7PM.
Batawang faces Samransak Singmanasak for the vacant WBO Oriental light-flyweight title, while Mayol takes on Wisan Sor Suchanya in a 10-round slugout.
Gello-ani is also slated to announce a big event involving a Filipino fighter who will get a chance at a possible world title opportunity.
Saturday's 10-bout extravaganza starts at 7PM, and will be covered for television by Viva Sports.
Meanwhile, organizers have indicated that they are cracking the whip on "freeloaders," locally termed as "bokong" spectators who are notorious for not paying their tickets and opt to get free entertainment.
Gello-ani stressed that such attitude contributes to steady decline of ticket sales in boxing, and promoters are expected to come up with stricter rules against freeloaders.
