Anthony Joshua Punishes and Stops Pulev in 9; Tyson Fury Must be Next By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sun, 13 Dec 2020  In a night of crushing right uppercuts, British WBA/IBF/WBO Heavyweight World Champion Anthony Joshua devastatingly dropped, battered and stopped mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, paving the way for his massive undisputed clash against fellow Briton WBC world champ "The Gypsy King" Tyson Fury in 2021. Official time for the stoppage was 2 minute 58 seconds in round nine, a knockout show that hammered home more success for the bankable Matchroom Boxing-DAZN boxing partnership, which set to deliver Canelo vs Smith for the super middleweight world title this coming Saturday December 19.
