In a 6-round lightweight scheduled bout, undefeated Ryan Garcia (9-0-0, 8KOs) of Victorville, CA drops Tyrone Luckey (8-7-3, 4KO) of Long Beach, NJ in round 1 and continue to batter him in round 2 leading the referee to stop the fight. Time 2:20 of round 2. (top photo)
US Women Brazil Olympic bronze medalist Marlene Esparza (2-0-0) of Houston, Texas won her 2nd pro fight with a unanimous decision win over Samantha Sanchez (2-4-1) of Dallas, Texas in the 4-round flyweight contest. Scores 40-36, 40-36, 40-36. The fight is historic. It's the first women pro fight in the world that went 4 three minute rounds.
Mexican Olympian Raul Curiel (1-0-0, 0KO) of Tumaulipas, Mexico wins pro debut with majority decision win over Jesus Sanchez (1-3-2, 0KO) of Michoacan, Mexico in their 4-round super welterweight. Scores 38-38, 40-36, 40-36.
