FINAL PREDICTION AND REASON FOR BOYCOTT

PhilBoxing.com

The ?Super Fight? is here, but where are the fans?

Floyd may be considered psychologically defeated, having been forced by the people to face the 8-division Champion he avoided for years, the one strong boxer he never ever wanted to face in a face-off. This is probably why the bout, under his machination, is too costly to watch, which prices are tantamount to shunning the people and flattering the wealthy 1% who may never even had any part in the labor and clamor to make the ?Mayweather vs. Pacquiao? happen.

Is Floyd, in effect, punishing the fans and people?

The great majority are deprived of the live viewing of the bout they waited so patiently, and for five long years. And now it?s finally here, supposedly made for them, but only to be eschewed and driven away in favor of the few financially capable who seem generous enough to be willing baits and victims of greed and abuses.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. can?t fight like he?s angry at Manny Pacquiao, as opposed to the description of his trainer/father, because there?s no reason for Floyd to be angry at Manny. In contrast, Pacquiao has countless big reasons to be mad at Mayweather and be extremely ferocious and merciless on the canvass to defeat and humiliate his false-accuser and mocker. Floyd should brace himself in the event Pacman would suddenly grow big inside the ring and evolve to become the angry Hulk monster.

I favor Pacman to win. But I can set aside hyperbole and be unbiased in my opinion as I weigh the outcome of the fight a day before May 2.

The contest is chess, boxing and marathon combined. ?Pacquiao must be aggressive but cautious of Mayweather's right "overhand" blows. The Filipino boxer's ingenuity is in a toe-to-toe fight. ?So once he breaks and solves Floyd's intelligent moves in scoring points using a defensive posture, Floyd would be forced to dance to Pacman?s rock and roll music. If that happens, Pacman will dominate the bout and could score a knockout from round 4 to 10. ?

Though it?can be a one-sided fight either way, it depends on Floyd should Manny fail to get through his defenses. ?If Mayweather would opt to be aggressive offensively, Pacquiao will no doubt win, in a spectacular way. ?But if older Mayweather will "run" or maintains defense as his key weapon, Pacquiao may lose in dull 12 rounds. ?

It?s going to be 60/40 winning chance for the boxer whose style would prevail. Roach has become cocky in this Mayweather fight, probably too proud to believe that he made Pacquiao when truth is the other way around. ?Outside of Pacquiao, Roach only made mediocre boxers even out of the brave and talented Amir Khan who could have developed better under his care. Pacquiao?s chief trainer is immaterial in a Pacquiao win, but he shares the blame big if Pacquiao loses tomorrow.

By the way, my interest for this so-called ?richest? boxing event has diminished significantly due to developments that arose from the avalanche of avarice on the part of the producers; of course also on account of Mayweather's unrepentant heart and "straight face" stance about his past and behavior in abusing women. ?

A boxing aficionado asked this free writer the other day: ?It?s odd Reni. Perhaps nobody had believed and fought effectively as you did to make the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao materialize using the power of media. But why suddenly are you boycotting the fight?? I replied, ?Key players responsible for its production have messed up all about the matchup - due to greed, ignorance and abuses. The reasons are compelling and the argument is enormous. There are volumes that can be said, but suffice it to say you just need to read my previous articles to understand why.?

It is sad that I am not watching this bout I have fought hard to materialize. Call it sacrifice on my part, if you may. So be it. Let us send the sharks a message. Boycott ?May-Pac? despite our support for whoever we are rooting to win.
Or watch the sham if you want, but buy it not.
Be noble.
