Jun Doliguez to face Mexican boxer who retires Boom-Boom Bautista

Doliguez.

Undefeated 126 pound campaigner, Jun ?Hercules? Doliguez is on his way to test the international fight scene with his first fight overseas.

The 22 year old native of Malungon, Sarangani is booked to fight Mexican Jose Ramirez (25-3, 15 KOs) on July 20th in Campeche, Mexico according to his manager, Elmer Anuran.

Doliguez (16-0-1, 12 KOs) will be leaving Manila tonight (Thursday) and will spend a couple of days in the United States first via Los Angeles before venturing to Mexico next week. He will be doing light training at the famed Wild Card Gym of Freddie Roach and acclimate himself to the Western hemisphere?s weather.

He will be accompanied by veteran coach Benny de la Pena and assistant coach Dagul Martinez who is also Dolinguez?s childhood friend.

His opponent, Ramirez, is the WBO International Featherweight titlist, a belt he obtained by beating another Filipino pug, Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista in Davao City last April.

Ramirez, 25, of Sinaloa, Mexico won over Bautista with a close Split Decision nod, with both fighters trading knockdowns in the fight.

?Ramirez is a test fight for Hercules in his road to a world title shot,? Anuran said.
