Lucas Browne back in action

Heavyweight KO artist Lucas "Big Daddy" Browne (13-0, 12 KO?s) will be looking for another KO when he faces Jason Gavern (21-12, 12 KO?s) tomorrow night at the Convention Towers and Exhibition Center in Hong Kong.

Browne says he has had a great training camp and is ready for this Heavyweight Commonwealth title eliminator against Gavern. Part of his preparation was spent at the DEF Boxing Gym in Hong Kong.

Also on the card will be Cameron ?The Hammer? Hammond who will make his professional debut.

Hammond has had an ideal preparation as he sparred with former two-time interim Lightweight world champion Michael Katsidis.

?It was a real honour to spar someone with Mick?s ability,? Hammond said

?I know I?ve got plenty to learn as a pro, but that?s why I?m here. I am really happy with how my preparation for this fight has gone so far?

Hammond was signed by Hatton Promotions Asia-Pacific after impressing at the London Games, losing to eventual Bronze medallist Custio Clayton of Canada.

?The opportunity to sign for Hatton Promotions Asia-Pacific was something that I didn?t need to think twice about. I can?t wait to fight in front of the boxing fans in Hong Kong? Hammond said.
