Davao City's Romeo Jakosalem (R) tags Canada's Steve Claggett with a left during their bout Saturday night at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino in Cebu City, Philippines.
Jakosalem (12-4-1 6KO) bloodied Claggett's nose in the first round but the Canadian responded by sending the Filipino to the canvas twice in the 3rd round to lead comfortably in the scorecards towards the 8th and final round when Jakosalem gave an all out attack on the visiting Canadian who succumbed to the pressure and eventually lost by TKO and absorbed his first defeat in 13 fights.
