Talented Nonito Donaire Jr was right on the button when he checked in at a perfect 115 lbs during official weigh-in held moments ago at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
His opponent, Panama's Rafael Concepcion, was at 119 lbs, some four pounds over the limit.
Hence, althought the fight will push through, only Donaire will have a shot at the interim WBA superfly title if he wins, but if Concepcion comes out victorious, the title remains vacant.
Filipino Bernabe Concepcion and WBO featherweight champion Steven Luevano both came in at 125 lbs, just a shade below the regulatory featherweight limit.
Hot Filipino welterweight prospect Mark Jason Melligen came in at 145 lbs, while Mexican opponent Ernesto Zepeda was also at 145 lbs.
Melligen's Las Vegas-based co-trainer Tony Martin provided details of today's weigh-in.
