JUVANIE “The Monkey King” Bacus of Manila is making a comeback in “short notice” but he is ready to fight Latterel "Panthera" Libiran of Bulacan in the Juego Todo on August 28 at the Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall in Cainta, Rizal.

The 32-year-old Bacus said that this is his comeback fight after a long break.

“This is short notice and preparation time has been limited — but I’m going to give everything I have inside that cage,” said Bacus.

Bacus is a coach at the New Breed Fitness Gym in U-Belt Manila.

“I also promote the New Breed Fighting Championship — our amateur fight event,” said Bacus.

His last fight in MMA was a victory against Reden Maguiant last December 2024.

Bacus has been 23 years active with nearly 90 total bouts and 85% win rate.

“I’ll leave it all there to put on a great fight and a show for everyone watching,” he said.

Bacus said that he wants to give Libiran a memorable first JT fight experience.

“Something that motivates him to keep going, because he’s still young and has so much ahead,” said Bacus.

Bacus added: “Let’s meet in the cage — and let’s give the fans a fight to remember.”

Bacus said he “honestly thought he might never get to step into the cage again.”

“My body carries a lot of injuries — ones I still feel today,” he said.

But his love for Juego Todo hasn’t faded.

“If I can still walk into this cage, there’s no reason not to try again.

“I don’t have anything left to prove — but I still want to show that I can keep up with the young, strong, hungry fighters who leave it all on the line,” said Bacus.

Meanwhile, CEO and founder Ferdinand “Papa Goat” Munsayac said the countdown is on for Juego Todo Sta. Lucia Barrio Brawls 5.

“Get ready for another day of latayan, and pure Filipino Martial Arts action!” said Munsayac.

The main event is the JT Professional bantamweight bout between Dennis “The Cannon” Quiñonero of Dava0 City against Marwin ‘The Subang” Landong of Rizal.
