DAVAO CITY -- THE HOKA Trilogy Run Asia has already started in Manila last April 7, Sunday and it is also set here in Davao starting on June 16.
This was announced by local organizer Kenneth Sai, who also joined the inaugural race together with his wife Honey.
“The massive 2024 series kick off today, April 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, which is a 16 kilometer run,” said Sai.
A total of 19 races, including the National Finals in December, will be on tap this year. It is open to all runners, from beginners to the elite level, and those in the various age groups.
Sai said the upcoming legs will be in Cebu, Baguio, Iloilo, Bacolod, Davao and Cagayan de Oro leading to the National Finals in Pasay City.
Sai added that the next Davao Leg will be on August 24 which is a 21-kilometer run.
“The 3rd leg in Davao is set on October 20 will already be a 32-kilometer run. It’s gonna be up and up and the National Finals will be 42k,” said Sai.
Also present at the inaugural race was Runrio event manager Kamille Atienza, who also plans to expand the race as far as Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
