Cataraja also arrives in Japan

ORIENT and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super flyweight champion Kevin Jake “KJ" Cataraja and his team also arrived in Nagoya, Japan today, November 8 in preparation for his first title-defense against Jay-r “The Dreamer” Raquinel of Negros Occidental on November 11 at the Prefectural Budokan in Nagoya.

The 28-year-old Cataraja (16-0-0, 13KOs) arrived with trainer Michael Domingo, flyweight Esneth Domingo (18-2-0, 10KOs) and assistant Victor Camayo.

They also saw the rival team of former OPBF champion JaY-R Racquinel aboard the same plane.

They also arrived today from Baguio City.

“I met them on the same plane,” said Domingo.

Domingo said that Cataraja is already one pound over the weight limit.

“It’s OK, it’s just one pound over,” said Domingo.

They are staying at the APA Hotel and still waiting for the schedules of activities.

The other group of Team ZIP-Sanman headed by JC Manangquil will arrive tomorrow.

It is promoted by Koki Kameda of Kameda Promotions.
