FORMER world champion Rene Mark “Mighty Mouse” Cuarto and Orlie “D’Kalibre” Silvestre both suffered separate losses today, April 16 in Japan.
The 26-year-old Cuarto suffered a 9th round knockout to undefeated Japanese Ginjiro Shigeoka for the IBF Interim world minimumweight title at the Yoyogi #2 Gymnasium in Tokyo.
It was the 4th loss by Cuarto against 21 wins and two draws while the 9th straight victory and 7th knockout by Shigeoka
Silvestre, on the other hand, was stopped by Takeru Inoue in 1:29 of the 8th and final round in Sumiyoshi Ward Center, Osaka.
Silvestre suffered his 8th loss against 17 wins and two draws while unbeaten Inoue scored his 3rd win with two knockouts.
Both Cuarto and Silvestre are from the MP Promotions of Davao City.
