UNDEFEATED Criztian Pitt “Golden Boy” Laurente of General Santos City is dedicating his fight on June 18 in Masbate City to his uncle, who passed away recently.
“I dedicate this fight to my main goal, family, and to my uncle Harvey Salera Abiñon who passed away,” said Laurente.
The 22-year-old undefeated Laurente will face unbeaten Richard Bulacan of Davao City for the Philippine GAB Youth super featherweight championship in Mobo, Masbate.
The fight is dubbed as “Battle of the Undefeated” since both boxers are undefeated. Laurente has nine wins with six knockouts while Bulacan enjoys an eight win record with six knockout tally.
It was originally slated on May 28 in Binan, Laguna. It is promoted by Gerry Penalosa of Gerrypens Boxing Promotion.
Laurente, who is from the Laurente Boxing Stable, is also under the Gerrypens Boxing Promotion.
Laurente and his father-trainer Titing will leave for Masbate on June 12, the Philippine Independence Day.
The Laurente-Bulacan 10-round fight is sponsored by PAGCOR and Bingo Plus.
