DAVAO CITY -- Orthodox Jeny Boy "Camiguin Tiger" Boca of Bukidnon scored a 4th round technical knockout over Sarawut Thawornkham of Thailand to win the vacant World Boxing Association Asia flyweight title last March 1 at Bangkok, Thailand.
The 25-year old Boca posted his 14th win and 12th knockout against six defeats while Thawornkham suffered his third loss against 21 win.
Meanwhile, southpaw Adrian Lerasan of Mandaluyong scored an 8th round TKO over Tanes Ongjunta of Thailand to win the vacant WBA Asia super flyweight title in the under card.
The 21-year old Lerasan had a total of nine wins with two knockouts against four defeats while Ongjunta suffered his first defeat after four wins.
The boxing promoter is Taweesin Laosuwanwat of TL Promotions.
