DAVAO CITY -- Rodynie 'Dondon' Rafol of Lipa City scored a TKO in the 3rd round against Tyson Lantry of Australia to win the vacant World Boxing Federation Asia Pacific lightweight title last Oct. 12 in Club Punchbowl, Punchbowl in Australia.
It was the 14th win and the 7th knockout by Rafol against seven losses and two draws. It was also the second comeback win by Rafol since he made a 'brief vacation' in 2015.
The 32-year old Rafol first won against James MacDonald of Australia by a TKO in the 4th round last Sept. 28, 2018 in Gold Coast Convention Centre in Broadbeach, Queensland.
