Adam Diu Abdulhamid of the Sanman Gym of Gen. Santos City will get another chance to show his stuff abroad when he faces Australian prospect Qamil Balla in Melbourne, Australia.
Abdulhamid (11W-4L,4KO?s) was set to fight Chinese boxer and former regional belt-holder Ik Yang in Chongqing, China last November 2017. But Yang arrived at the weigh-in extremely overweight and the fight had to be downgraded into an exhibition.

This was on the undercard of the WBO world heavyweight title fight between champion Joseph Parker and Razvan Cojanu with Parker prevailing by unanimous verdict. In his pro debut, Balla fought a Filipino, Allan Jay Tuniaco, and the fight ended in a draw.
The 23 year old Abdulhamid will also be looking to change his luck in overseas bouts having lost in Thailand and Russia.
Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing of this match-up.
?This will be a non-title bout, for eight rounds with a catchweight of 137lbs.? Manangquil stated.
