Eight division world champion and Philippine senator Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38KOs) weighed in at 144.8 lbs while Jessie Vargas (27-1-0, 10KOs) stepped the scales at 146.5 lbs during the official weighin held at the Encore Theatre at Wynn Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Friday afternoon. Pacquiao will challenge Vargas's WBO world welterweight title Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila) at the Thomas & Mack Center located inside the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus.
In the main undercard, Nonito Donaire Jr (37-3-0, 24KOs) of the Philippines, who will put his WBO world super bantamweight title on the line, came in at 121.8 lbs while his challenger Jessie Magdaleno (23-0-0, 17KOs) of Las Vegas weighed in at 121.3 lbs.
For the vacant WBO world featherweight title, Oscar Valdez (20-0-0, 18KOs) of Mexico stepped the scales at 125.3 lbs. while Hiroshige Osawa (30-3-4, 19KOs) of Japan weighed in at 125.3 lbs.
For the vacant WBO world flyweight title, Zou Shiming (8-1-0, 2KOs) of China weighed in at 111 lbs while Prasitsak Phaprom (39-1-2, 24KOs) of Thailand came in at 111.3 lbs.
