Just moments ago, Sonny Boy Jaro, represented by his manager Aljoe Jaro, has informed Philboxing.com that he is accepting the challenge hurled at him by newly-crowned WBO Asia Pacific light flyweight champ Along Denoy of the ALA Stable for a fight on September 15 in Cebu.
Denoy and Jaro had previously fought to a majority technical draw in their first encounter last year.
Aljoe Jaro has informed that his ward is accepting the challenge to fight Denoy with his RP belt on the line. Denoy will also give up his regional title in favor of Jaro should he lose to the Binangonan fighter.
Aljoe Jaro, however, emphasized that his other ward Denver Cuello will not be available to defend against unbeaten ALA Boy Milan Milendo, as he has an upcoming fight on August 25 at the world-class Thunderbird Resort in Binangonan, Rizal.
Another protege, Danilo Lerio, is also interested to travel to Cebu and challenge RP flyweight champion Rocky Fuentes of the ALA Stable.
