BAKBAKAN SA ELORDE: TRONGKO VS. UGBANIEL FOR THE WBC INTERNATIONAL FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP THIS SATURDAY AT PARANAQUE

The Elorde International Boxing Promotions once again presents an exciting and explosive boxing event this Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex, Paranaque City.

In the main event, reigning WBC International Flyweight Champion, Renan Trongco (W14-L4-D0, 8KO) of Paranaque City will defend his belt against a worthy challenger Weljan Ugbaniel (W12-L2-D1, 3KO) of Sarangani Province.

Renan Trongco won the vacant WBC International Flyweight Championship last September 7, 2013 by defeating Wang Xin Hua (W10-L9-D1, 2KO) of China via unanimous decision held at the The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex, Paranaque City.

The challenger, Weljan Ugbaniel failed in his bid to win the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental Super Flyweight Title last September 8, 2012 against Gabriel Altarejos when the bout ended in a split draw. He won two (2) successive fights against Jherald Tuyor and Rogen Flores via technical and decisions before he earned his way to challenge WBC International Flyweight Champ Renan Trongco this Saturday.
