GARCIA DROPS MATTHYSEE EN ROUTE TO A UNANIMOUS DECISION WIN

LAS VEGAS -- Danny Garcia (27-0-0, 16KO) of Philadelphia, PA dropped Lucas Matthysee (34-3-0, 32KO) of Argentina in the 11th round and went on to win by unanimous decision to retain his WBC and WBA light welterweight titles. Scores were 115-111, 114-112, 114-112 all in favor of the undefeated American star.
