Banal, Maraon win against Thai foes

AJ "Bazooka" Banal administered a one-sided beating over his Thai opponent Terdkiat Jandaeng before the referee stopped the fight in the 9th round at the Mandaue City Sports Complex in Cebu hours earlier. The undefeated Banal is now 11-0-1 with 9 KOs.
Over in Midsayap, Cotabato, another young Filipino prospect, Jundy Maraon, made short work of another Thai, Saensak Singmanasak, knocking his opponent out in the very first round. Singmanasak had earlier crossed paths with Rey Bautista and Diosdado Gabi, losing both times by second round knockout. Maraon has now upped his unblemished record to 9-0-1 with 7 KOs.
