MELLIGEN IMPRESSIVE IN SPARRING!

LAS VEGAS--ALA fighter Mark Jason Melligen has been looking sharp and impressive during sparring sessions at the Mayweather Gym here.
With some 18 rounds of sparring so far in three weeks' training since arriving in Las Vegas to prepare for the fight, Melligen says he is feeling good at the moment.
The young junior welterweight prospect is set to spar 8 rounds against tomorrow, said Filipino trainer Edito Villamor who is collaborating with Las Vegas trainer Tony Martin in putting Melligen into perfect shape.
Melligen takes on elongated Michel Rosales in a 10-round bout of the televised portion of the "Pinoy Power 2" card promoted by Top Rank.
