By Ed de la Vega, DDS PhilBoxing.com Mon, 25 May 2009
Through PhilBoxing.com, the Filipino Australian Sports Association (FASA) has formally sent an invitation for Manny Pacquiao and his family to visit their community when the Filipino spitfire visits Australia on the first week of June.
FASA President, Harlie de la Cruz-Son whose organization is based in Perth, Western Australia sent the invitation to us requesting that we pass it over to the right people on Team Pacquiao.
?We have been watching you and followed you in every fight, including your plans to become a Congressman in the future,? Son wrote the Pacman.
?In every fight you have, we have been ecstatic with the excitement that you brought and made us proud to be Filipino. You inspire us, you give us hope, and you incarnate our dreams with faith in God. What a Great Example!," Son added further.
FASA is an organization of Filipino sportsmen and women numbering almost 1000 members. They have a website to allow communications with people all over the world. (www.fasainc.com.au)
FASA?s address is as follows: FASA Loftus and Vincent Streets, Town of Vincent-Leederville, Western Australia 6007.
Their President can be reached on his e-mail: ?president@fasainc.com.au.?
