MAYOL VS CALDERON IS ON!

According to Fightnews, unbeaten two-time world champion Ivan ?Iron Boy? Calderon of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico will be defending his WBO 108-lb title at the Madison Square Garden on Saturday, June 13 against LA-based Filipino Rodel Mayol.
The fight is set on the undercard of the big world championship welterweight clash between Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey.
Calderon will be making the fourth defense of the 108-pound title. He said: ?It has always been my dream to fight at Madison Square Garden in New York and to do it the night before the National Puerto Rican Parade, makes it even more exciting for me. It will be a night to remember."
Mayol, who trains at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym, was once considered as the country's brightest hope for a world title, but failed twice in his previous world title attempts.
