BRING ON BANAL VS CONCEPCION REMATCH!

PhilBoxing.com

Little Rock, AR -- AJ Banal is currently training at the Wildcard Gym, perhaps to rediscover his natural talent and revive his confidence in boxing. He just won a very easy fight in Bohol, he beat a Gr. II section Ipil-ipil from Indonesia. AJ "was" already on his internship (he is on his final semester of college boxing already... Manny is already a Doctor as we all know) though, but he wasn't accepted by the Boxing Inc. because he forgot to pass his final test which is the endurance test.

I spoke to Rafael Concepcion's manager (Damon de Berry) yesterday evening and told him that AJ is in LA, and he said that they know that AJ is training at Wildcard. He also said that Arce didn't bring the good plan to fight undisputed champ Darchinyan.

He told me that Rafael already won two fights after he lost to "My Boy Lollipop Arce" and they are looking for a fight again by end of March. Damon said that losing to Arce makes his ward more focus and smart. Hopefully, that would be the same also for our Batang Ermita AJ Banal after losing 10 rd knockout to Rafael.

AJ will fight sometime May in the Philippines, Philboxing reproted that young Aldeguer is looking for a world class opponent for AJ on this huge card. To bring AJ back! Yohoo! Sounds a very good idea.

So, I bring this topic to Damon if he is willing to go back to Cebu to fight again Alex John. Damon told me that they went to Cebu last time because the WBA SuperFlyweight Interim championship is at stake, but right now it's hard to justify why they will go back to Cebu. We already beat him, nothing is at stake and why beat the guy again? Confidence right there.

But here's the catch, Damon said that if the offer is irresistible then they will consider.

So, if Michael Aldeguer wants AJ Banal to reclaim that confidence they are looking for AJ maybe bringing El Torrito back is the answer. And make sure the offer is irrestible! And make sure to reflect why Boxing Inc. did not absorb him after his internship.

Why bring other opponent to boost this confidence thing? we know that AJ can beat Rafael, boxingwise AJ is ahead. Just a few fine tuning and AJ will be AJ again but this time he is better and more prepared. Perhaps stronger if they really ponder what happen. AJ is from Ermita, toughest neighborhood out there in Cebu he should be fine fighting again his tormentor. Snatchers, Trese Hudas, Crips', etc... den. That is AJ's place. Going to the ring again with Rafael is not hard I think.

Go back to refresher class with El Maestro Villamor, and scan those endurance manual, bravery manual and becoming a boss manual. I'll call AJ tonight and start discussing that Becoming a Boss handbook.

KUMBATEA!
